For instance, US-based Lubrizol Corporation, a wholly-owned subsidiary of billionaire Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathway, has commissioned its new chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (CPVC) compounding plant in Dahej SEZ. This is the company’s first major investment in India.
The company has invested Rs 325 crore in the plant and it will have the capacity to produce 55,000 metric tonnes (MT) of compounds annually….
Dahej SEZ has been conferred the Global Free Zone of the Year 2016 award – under the SMEs Asia category — by the bimonthly magazine Foreign Direct Investment, published by the Financial Times Group, London.
Dahej Special Economic Zone witnessed an increase of nearly 12% in its SME tenants between 2014 and 2015, following the zone’s participation in several trade exhibitions and marketing initiatives.
